Alan Shearer holds Premier League all-time goal-scoring record with 260 goals. The former Newcastle United and Blackburn Rovers forward also hold hat-trick (11) and penalties (58) records. This record may not be broken by any other player in many more years to come. We also have other records that may not be great. The holders may not be proud of them but they remain in the history books. They include red and yellow card records. These records show the ugly side of football but all-in-all they are part of football. Today, let us take a look at yellow card record holders;
7. Lee Cattermole- 91 Yellow cards

Sunderland midfielder Lee Cattermole is perhaps the man who could’ve broken the yellow card record if he managed to keep his team in the Premier League. This might not happen anytime soon now because instead of bouncing back in their first season in Championship. They were relegated to the lower league. This means it will take Black Cats at least two years to return to the top flight. He might still sign for a club in the league to improve on his current record of 91 yellow cards.
6. Scott Parker- 92 Yellow cards
Only five players have picked up more yellow cards in the Premier League than Scott Parker.

Manchester United legend Paul Scholes was loved, feared and hated in equal measure during his time at Old Trafford. He controlled the midfield making it very difficult for the opponents to really get a foothold in the game. He won all available trophies in the club level but he also collected 99 yellow cards in his career.
