UEFA Champions League matchday four entertained the World once again from all corners of Europe. The biggest result in the round is no doubt Manchester United 2-1 away win against Juventus. The focus now shifts to Europa League. It is now Arsenal and Chelsea turn to take the dance floor and show us what they’ve got. Today, we want to recognize best performers from Tuesday and Wednesday UCL matches.

5. Robert Lewandowski- 2 Goals

Bayern Munich rarely struggles to win matches when forward Robert Lewandowski is on form. On Wednesday, he netted a brace to take the Bavarians top of Group E with 10 points. AEK conceded a penalty in the 31st minute and the Polish attacker made no mistake from the spot. He completed the job in the 71st minute. Next game for Bundesliga champions is a tough match against League leaders Borussia Dortmund.

4. Karim Benzema- 2 Goals

Real Madrid is back from the dead and they are leaving no prisoners. The Los Blancos recorded their second win in a week since academy coach Solari took over from Julen Lopetegui. Karim Benzema was unstoppable again with a brace to make it more comfortable for his team. Other goals were scored by Gareth Bale, Casemiro and Toni Kroos. The defending champions are now joint-top of Group G alongside AS Roma with 9 points.

3. Gabriel Jesus: Hat-trick

Manchester City thrashed Shakhtar Donetsk 6-0 at Etihad Stadium on Wednesday night to go top of Group F with 9 points. The superb performance was overshadowed by a dubious penalty awarded to the hosts after Raheem Sterling scuffed the surface with no contact from the defender.

However, Gabriel Jesus will not care because he stepped up to convert the penalty. Pep Guardiola side got another penalty and he scored that too before completing his hat-trick with another goal in the 92nd minute. The next match for City is a derby against Manchester United this coming weekend.
