Five times World Player of the year Lionel Messi takes the fifth place on the list. The Barcelona magician has delivered everything to the game apart from the World Cup. He has scored many important goals in all competitions he has participated. The 30-year-old total is now 552 goals. He has also netted 64 goals in 124 appearances for Argentina.

The Portuguese has so far netted 573 club goals in 763 appearances for three clubs. He is also the all-time record goalscorer for the Los Blancos.
This is how his journey has been, he scored 5 goals in 31 matches for Portuguese side Sporting Lisbon. The winger switched to Manchester United where he netted 118 times in 292 appearances. In Madrid, he has blown up completely with 450 goals in only 438 matches.
