3. Joe Cole (36 years old) – Tampa Bay Rowdies (Canada)

Joe Cole was a wonder-kid set to light up the Premier League. He spent seven seasons at Chelsea, playing over 280 games in all competitions and winning ten trophies, including 3 League titles. He played for other clubs like Liverpool, Lille, West Ham, Aston Villa, and Coventry City. On 4 May 2016, Cole signed with the Tampa Bay Rowdies in the North American Soccer League (NASL). On 19 October, Cole was nominated for the NASL Golden Ball award.

2. Andrey Arshavin (37 years old) – FC Kairat (Kazakhstan)

Arshavin signed for Arsenal in 2008–09 on £15 million, becoming the most expensive player in Arsenal’s history at the time. He went on to become a brilliant, influential and spectacular player in Arsenal. Unfortunately, Arshavin received a lot of criticism later after, struggling to maintain his actual performance. He returned back to Zenit before joining Kuban Krasnodar. Andrey plays for FC Kairat in the Kazakhstan Premier League today.

1. Ze Roberto (44 years old) – Palmeiras

For Ze Roberto, time simply doesn’t move as he’s still playing football professionally at the age of 44. Over a 20-year long career, Ze Roberto has got an impressive CV, having played for Real Madrid, Bayer Leverkusen, and Bayern Munich. Today, he is captaining the Brazilian top flight, Palmeiras and doesn’t show any sign of slowing down.
