REVEALED: Manchester United director Ed Glazer helped Donald Trump win US election

Manchester United director Ed Glazer has been revealed as the most generous one on the Donald Trump side by donating £45,000 to the campaign that saw the American Billionaire beat Hillary Clinton to replace Barack Obama as the President of the United States.

Glazer, son of Malcom who controversially became majority shareholder of the club in 2005, joined the chiefs of other American football sides in backing Trump, giving the Republican candidate £44,614, trailing donations from the owners of the Houston Texans and New York Jets.

The billionaire businessman shocked the world to win the race to become the 45th president of the United States on Wednesday morning.

Strangely, Glazer – who is also the co-chairman of the NFL’s Tampa Bay Buccaneers – donated another $5,400 (£4,353) to Hillary Clinton’s failed campaign, who also received $2,700 (£2,179) donation from Liverpool chairman Tom Werner, among others.
