Sky Sports reporter Dharmesh Sheth has revealed that Chelsea striker Michy Batshuayi could complete his loan move today.

Batshuayi has spent the last two seasons on loan as he spent half of the 2017-18 season before his Valencia loan deal was cut short by the Spanish side this season.

The 25-year-old scored just three times in 23 appearances across all competitions since he joined the La Liga side in August.

But Sheth reveals that he has been told by a source close to the deal that the Belgium international is set to be announced as a Monaco player for the remainder of the season.

“A striker who is on his way out is Michy Batshuayi,” Sheth told the Transfer Centre.

“Valencia have cut short his loan spell and Monaco are interested in signing him until the end of the season.”

“There’s a willingness on all sides to get a deal done with Monaco boss Thierry Henry admitting his interest in a player he’s worked with a Belgian.”

“One source has told us the move could be done on Monday.”

Batshuayi joined the Blues in the summer of 2016 from Marseille and went on to score 19 goals in 53 appearances for West London side.
