Manchester United boss Jose Mourinho wants defensive reinforcements and has been linked with Benfica’s young Swedish stopper Victor Lindelof.
The 22-year-old has plenty of big-game experience and impressed when Benfica were narrowly knocked out by Bayern Munich in the quarter-finals of last season’s Champions League.
- The dominant centre-back already has 11 caps for Sweden and started all three of their group games at Euro 2016.
- The Red Devils scouted Lindelof during Benfica’s 6-0 win over Maritimo in the Taca de Portugal on Saturday.
