Manchester scout confirms interest in Ajax’s brilliant striker Kasper Dolberg
Manchester City scout Sebastian Arnesen has confirmed that his side interested in Ajax’s brilliant striker Kasper Dolberg, who has been in the headlines this week after he scored his first hat-trick for Ajax in a 5-0 win over NEC.
The scout has told BT the following: “We are keeping a very close eye on him, and when the time is right we’ll make a decision on whether we should act.
“He has a huge potential. He is tall, strong, brave and quick. He has an excellent touch, can play with his back to the goal and take the right decisions. And he can finish anywhere in the field. He is so special, and therefore he is of course also on the radar.”
- The scout will be in Amsterdam tonight to watch the striker in action as Ajax take on Panathinaikos in the Europa League.
- The Denmark striker joined Ajax on 5 January 2016 from Danish club Silkeborg IF.
- At the age of 19 made his senior international debut, Dolberg made his senior international debut on 11 November 2016.
