However, they are some of the most dangerous teams to face. Serbia is also in the middle of a transition. A new generation with an average age of 26.8 years is trying to complete the take over from the likes of Nemanja Vidic and Branislav Ivanovic. They will be the youngest squad in Russia 2018 FIFA World Cup.

Tunisia is the least talked about African team in the World Cup. Mohamed Salah side Egypt has received the most headlines because of his injury in UEFA Champions League. However, The Eagles of Carthage recent friendly matches show Africa can expect a lot from them despite having the fourth youngest squad in the tournament aged 26.5 years.
In their warm-up matches, they have drawn 2-2 with Portugal and Turkey. The North Africans lost 1-0 to Spain on Saturday 9th June. This means, they are capable of troubling Belgium, England and Panama in Group G to reach the last 16.
3. England- 26 Yrs Average Age (26y,18d)
26y 18d – Only Nigeria (25y 336d) and France (26y 10d) will have a 23-man squad with a younger average age than England (26y 18d) on the opening day of the 2018 World Cup finals. Fresh. pic.twitter.com/8FGqOifk44

Costa Rica struggled to deal with the pace of England midfielders and attackers when the two sides clashed at Leeds. Age might be one of the reasons why. The Central Americans squad heading to Russia has an average age of 29.6 years. It is the joint highest together with Panama. On the other hand, Three Lions squad is the third youngest in the tournament. This does not mean they are not good players on that team. All play in the Premier League. Gareth Southgate team will certainly be a threat to any team going forward. The first match will be against African side Tunisia, then Panama and finally Belgium.
