The English Premier League is one of the toughest football Leagues in the World. This makes it special for any footballer with double figures in goals or assists. Today, our focus shifts to all-time most assist in the League’s history. Take a look at 6 men ruling the assist league in history;
6. Steven Gerrard – Liverpool
PL Appearances: 504
Like Ryan Giggs did with Man Utd, Steven Gerrard played for Liverpool all his life. He dedicated everything to the club and it still bothers many that he didn’t get a Premier League medal. That aside, the former Reds Skipper assisted 92 goals in 504 matches. He officially retired from football at the end of 2016 after two seasons with US Major League Soccer side LA Galaxy. He is now Rangers first team Coach.
5. Dennis Bergkamp – Arsenal
Arsenal legend Dennis Bergkamp assisted 94 goals in Premier League for the Gunners and is without a doubt one of the best players in the history of the club. Thierry Henry is the only player who has a better record for the London Club.
4. Frank Lampard – Chelsea / West Ham / Man City
It’s been quite some footballing journey for Frank Lampard.
In approx 25 minutes time he makes his first competitive debut as a Manager. Wishing the Chelsea legend all the luck in the world. I believe he has all the makings to be a top class manager #SuperFrankieLampard pic.twitter.com/dH7nmqO993

Frank Lampard was always near Steven Gerrard and in the list of assists, they follow each other too. The former Chelsea midfielder is not only the highest goals scorer in the club history but he also tops the assist league given Fabregas assisted most of his goals during his spell at Arsenal.
Lampard has assisted 96 goals in 609 appearances stretching across his West Ham, Chelsea and Manchester City days. Lampard announced his retirement at the end of 2016 (same as Gerrard) after a two-year spell with US Major League Soccer side New York City FC. He is now coaching Derby County in the Championship.
