German football is going through what Serie A has been suffering from in the last seven years. The League is losing fans and revenue due to total dominance by Bayern Munich. The Bavarians have lifted the last six Bundesliga crowns and no other team has a chance this season either. This makes the League predictable and boring. However, when it comes to goal scorers over the years, the division has produced some of the best. Let us look at six all-time best scorers in the championship.
6. Robert Lewandowski- 183 Goals
Bayern Munich striker Robert Lewandowski is the sixth highest goalscorer in Bundesliga history. The Poland international has netted 183 goals so far for two clubs. He started his career in Germany with Borussia Dortmund and then moved to Allianz Arena to win more trophies. The 30-year-old might be able to extend his numbers by close to 100 goals if he stays in League until his retirement.
5. Claudio Pizarro- 192 Goals

He had two successful spells with Bayern Munich. The South American is the highest-scoring foreign player in Bundesliga history with 192 goals so far. He also had a short spell with FC Koln.

Manfred Burgsmüller is the fourth German in the list with 213 goals to his name. The former Borussia Dortmund and Werder Bremen striker could also play as a midfielder but it made no difference because he scored goals for fun. There is something special about the Mullers.
