On 7 March 2007, former Bayern Munich forward Roy Makaay scored what remains the fastest Champions League goal after only 10.12 seconds. The goal helped eliminate Real Madrid from the European competition in the round of 16. The Bavarians would’ve have liked to see such a hero on their team today. The Los Blancos eliminated them for the second year in a row.
