All top European Leagues returned last weekend after two weeks break to pave way for the International break. The League tables have not changed after another round of matches in all five leagues. PSG continues to lead in France, Man City in England, Juventus in Italy and Dortmund in Germany. Today, we want to recognize seven best performing stars in the five best leagues in Europe last weekend.
5. Edinson Cavani- 1 Goal
FULL TIME: PSG still perfect in @Ligue1_ENG, make it 1⃣4⃣ straight wins on the season thanks to @ECavaniOfficial's lone strike in a 1-0 decision over @ToulouseFC! #PSGTFC #ALLEZPARIS 🔴🔵 pic.twitter.com/MCUdPhocQG

PSG should be given the Ligue 1 title already because there is no way the rest can catch up with them. Last weekend, they defeated Toulouse 1-0 thanks to a 9th-minute goal by Edinson Cavani. The defending champions remain unbeaten in the League with 42 points, 15 clear of second-placed side Lyon. It is simply impossible to compete in the French league.
4. Dembele & Costa- 2 Goals
Apparently, Atleti tough guy Diego Costa injured his foot in the process of scoring his first LaLiga goal of the season on Saturday.

The biggest game in Europe last weekend was no doubt the clash between Atletico Madrid and Barcelona. The game was fierce and physical. It was difficult for any of the two sides to get going but that style favors Diego Simeone side.
The home side scored what the fans thought would be enough to win given their impressive defensive record. Diego Costa rose highest in the 77th minute to squeeze the ball in the net after a fine corner was delivered by Antoine Griezmann. However, Ousmane Dembele came off the bench to equalize in the 90th minute to secure a valuable point for his team. Messi and Suarez were neutralized for the entire game.
3. Mohamed Salah- 1 Goal
Mohamed Salah has had a hand in six goals in his last five Premier League games (four goals, two assists), as many as he managed in his previous 11.

Liverpool struggled to break down Watford on Saturday but when they finally did, it ended 3-0. The opening goal was scored by Mohamed Salah after a fine pass from Sadio Mane. The Egyptian has now scored 7 goals in 13 Premier League matches. The Reds are doing very well but Manchester City is doing even better. The title race will probably be a two horse race.
