Premier League Matchday 16 will be completed tonight when Everton welcomes Watford at Goodison Park. The biggest result last weekend was obviously Chelsea 2-0 win against Manchester City. Liverpool is now top of the table after beating Bournemouth 4-0. Manchester United finally won a match at Old Trafford to end 4-match winless run. Arsenal and Tottenham also recorded victories to keep the fire burning in the top six. Today, we want to look at the five best players in the League last weekend.

5.Diogo Dalot- MotM

Manchester United fans had a great weekend after watching their team thrash bottom side Fulham 4-1 at Old Trafford. The goals were scored by Ashley Young, Juan Mata, Romelu Lukaku and Marcus Rashford.

However, none of them got the Man of the Match award because there was another worthy winner. His name is 19-year-old right back Diogo Dalot. He was so impressive that the fans could not believe their eyes. He was doing his defensive duties well, but his contribution going forward was even amazing. He delivered many perfect crosses. The problem now is how to finish and Lukaku and his forward colleagues can’t complain about service anymore.

4. Marcus Rashford- 1 Goal, 2 Assists

Manchester United 4-0 win against Fulham at Old Trafford was very impressive even if their opponents are rooted at the bottom of the table. Jose Mourinho will be certainly impressed by Marcus Rashford performance.

The English attacker netted a crazy goal late in the game after assisting Juan Mata and Romelu Lukaku goals. He had another wonderful day in office less than a week after assisting two goals to get a 2-2 draw against Southampton.

3. Lucas Torreira- 1 Goal Winner

Arsenal fans are still talking about Lucas Torreira super goal that secured all three points against Huddersfield last weekend. The Uruguay midfield dynamo is already a star at Emirates. In the last few weeks, he has endeared himself to the fans with great performances that might end Mesut Ozil career at the club.

The short man netted a super goal against Tottenham Hotspurs in the famous North London derby last week. He then fought hard to control midfield at Old Trafford against Manchester United, then scored a winner against a hardworking Huddersfield side. He is becoming the dream midfielder the Gunners were always looking for all these years.
