When it comes to scoring,  Sadio Mane and Mo Sallah come atop. The duo met last season and went on to reach the Champions League final. Unfortunately, the Reds lost to Real Madrid. Mane and Salah have combined more than 100 goals for Liverpool but no trophy.

2. Hazard brothers were born to sports parents & have all played for Chelsea

The Hazard brothers’, Thierry, father spent most of his career at semi-professional level with La Louviere as a defensive midfielder in the Belgian Second Division. Their mother, Carine, played as a striker in the Belgian Women’s First Division. She stopped playing when she was three months pregnant with Eden. The Hazard brothers, Eden, Kylian, and Thorgan Hazard have all played for Chelsea.

1. Chelsea once rejected the chance to sign Kylian Mbappe

French World Cup winner Kylian Mbappe could have signed for Chelsea in 2012 after undergoing a trial with the London club. However, after being asked to return for a second training session, the player’s mother refused and they didn’t return to England.

Chelsea scout, Serge Daniel Boga, said: “He took a trial and didn’t end up convincing us because he didn’t offer enough defensively. So, they asked his mother if he could come back for a second trial and she said no.”
