Real Madrid attacker Cristiano Ronaldo has conceded that he cannot be compared to Liverpool winger Mohamed Salah.
Both men will meet in the Champions League final on Saturday at Olimpiyskiy National Sports Complex in Kiev.
Salah, who joined Liverpool last summer, has enjoyed his first season at Anfield scoring 44 goals and 14 assists in all competitions this season.
Meanwhile, Ronaldo has also managed 44 goals and 8 assists in 43 appearances across all competitions for the European champions.
The Portuguese superstar has claimed that he has been impressed with Egypt international’s exploits since joining the Reds.
However, the former Manchester United star believes he still stands head and shoulders, figuratively and literally, above Salah.
“Not really,” said Ronaldo when asked if he saw any similarities between himself and Salah.
“He is completely different. He plays with the left, I play with the right. I’m tall he’s a little bit shorter, I play with the head.”
“We are completely different. People want to compare me with other players but I’m different from everyone.”
“Salah is different but I have to say he has had a fantastic Champions League a fantastic league season, but Saturday, let’s see.”
Meanwhile, Liverpool are running for their sixth European trophy, as Zinedine Zidane’s side are looking to clinch the third trophy in a row, which will be their 13th in the history.
