However, different reports have previously reported that the Bavarians could allow the Germany international to leave if they receive offers.
The 29-year-old has emerged as Manchester United target as manager Jose Mourinho is looking to strengthen his backline this summer.
“If a club comes to us and he says that he wants to join that club, then we will negotiate, but the offer has to be important,” Rummenigge told Bild.
Boateng, whose contract at Allianz Arena is due to expire in 2021, has recently revealed that he may be ready for a new challenge.
