Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has revealed that he was touched by a classy gesture presented to him by Manchester United ahead of Sunday’s clash.

The French manager was given a vase his former counterpart Sir Alex Ferguson, while Red Devils boss Jose Mourinho has also joined the respectful moment.
United fans have also warmly cheered Wenger while walking down the touchline.

The 28-year-old told Sky Sports: “It was a very nice gesture. I would like to thank them.”
“It shows that the big things in life, sometimes they finish well. It was very nice and classy. I enjoyed it.”

Wenger’s happy mood was spoiled by United’s 2-1 victory over the Gunners at Old Trafford.
