Dubbed the Super Swede also finished third at the 1994 World Cup with his national team in USA, He is a huge fan of his compatriot Zlatan Ibrahimovic, who has been impressive for Manchester United by scoring four goals in four matches this season.

“Zlatan is definitely the super Swede nowadays,” he told The Guardian. “I just pray to God that he will win the Premier League. There are not many who have won in Spain, in Italy, in England and the rest.

“I met him twice and he is the sweetest guy you could ever meet. He is awesome in that sense. His image is his image but all I can say is that behind that image he has a good heart.

“For Sweden he has been the bees knees. He has been everything for us this last 10 years. He has been the greatest ambassador we could have.

“In every era you have players who are lifting their club up, which Zlatan is doing now. You need that. United have the greatest character you could ever have.

“He thinks he is the world. But the thing is, if you think you are the world and you don’t deliver you are in the shit. But he thinks he is the world and he delivers.

“You can’t ask for more.”

The 50-year-old Swede will be part of the Arsenal Legends side that will play against the former AC Milan greats (Milan Glorie) on 3 September at the Emirates Stadium.

‘Chelsea style is PERFECTLY suited for EPL Title’- Man United legend Paul Scholes

Former Manchester United and England midfielder Paul Scholes believes Chelsea are on to something special this season if they continue playing the kind of football they have displayed in the last five victories in the English Premier League.

The Red Devils legend was speaking at BT Sport in post-match analysis of the Blues 5-0 thumping win over Everton at Stamford Bridge. The performance comes only a fortnight after that 4-0 hammering of Scholes former team United and he therefore believe their current style is what is exactly needed to win the league in England.

‘I think their style of play is almost suited more to winning the title than a couple of the teams above them,’ Scholes said.

‘Liverpool play a high energy game that is very good at the minute, but Tottenham did the same last season and blew up in March, April. Can Liverpool keep that up, I’m not too sure.

‘The way Chelsea play is more or less counter-attacking football, what Leicester did last year, it is very much suited to winning the league.

‘They obviously have the quality, they have the experience, and players who have won the league before, you would have to give them a great chance,’ he continued.

The former member of Fergie ‘Class of 92’ went further to say that Antonio Conte side is capable of winning the next eight matches which include Tottenham Hotspurs at home and Manchester City of Pep Guardiola at Etihad Stadium.

Nov 20: Middlesbrough (A)

Nov 26: Tottenham (H)

Dec 3: Manchester City (A)

Dec 11: West Brom (H)

Dec 14: Sunderland (A)

Dec 17: Crystal Palace (A)

Dec 26: Bournemouth (H)

Dec 31: Stoke (H)

Scholes said: ‘Tottenham at home is usually a good fixture for Chelsea, they normally beat them all the time. I think Middlesbrough away won’t be easy, they had a good result against Man City, that will be tough.

‘They are all winnable; if they play anything like they did today they will win all those games. The challenge is now to repeat that performance, can they do it against the better teams we will have to wait and see.

‘But you would expect, in the form they are, they will get a lot of points out of those games,’ Concluded Scholes.

Chelsea was 15th in the table with 11 points at this stage of the campaign but they are now top of the table with 25 points after that crazy draw by Manchester City. If Arsenal who are facing bitter rivals Tottenham Hotspurs and Liverpool who lock horns with Watford fail to get all three points, then we will go to the International break with Conte on the helm.

‘Arsenal will always be STRONGER and BETTER than you’- Arsene Wenger IGNITES Derby flames

Arsene Wenger has ignited the flames ahead of the much-awaited North London derby by claiming Arsenal will always be stronger than bitter rivals Tottenham Hotpurs.

“We have a strong fan base, maybe the strongest in London. And as long as we do our job, Arsenal will always be the stronger.

“I just think about Arsenal and to make us as big as possible, to make us stronger and stronger,” said Wenger.

Spurs are currently building a new Stadium that will have a bigger capacity than Emirates Stadium but the Frenchman believes that will not change anything when it comes to the size of the two rivals.

“No position is guaranteed,” he continued.

“It is about doing our job.

“But at the end of the day everything is decided by what happens on the pitch. That is what the size of a club is about – consistency at the top level. That is what size is about.”

In the last 48 matches, the Gunners have emerged victorious 22 times, drawn 19 and lost only 7 matches. This record is however under threat because Spurs are much stronger under the current boss Mauriccio Pochettino. However Wenger believes that the match is better when both teams are strong.

“The better the two teams are, the better the derby will be. At the moment, both teams are doing well so that is why I think this one is more interesting.” Wenger continued.

The North London derby is a massive game for both sides especially the fans. It is a game that you either win or win, it is heated and you can expect yellow cards and red cards. The Gunners boss however believes it is important for the players to get a perfect balance.

“It is important to keep that fine balance between motivation, attitude, composure and being relaxed. It is important that you keep your discipline, that you focus on football,” said Wenger.

“Sometimes you can have games that are heated from the first to the last minute, sometimes you have just two or three moments in the game when it becomes absolutely heated. But you have to master the situation when it happens.”

Arsenal will welcome Spurs at Emirates Stadium this afternoon.
