Premier League matchday 23 completed on Sunday with two fixtures that will define how the top half of the table will look like at the end of the season. Manchester City responded to Liverpool with a 3-0 win to remain 4 points behind them at the top. Tottenham crawled towards the finish line with a narrow 2-1 win against Fulham. Manchester United is now only 3 points behind their 4th placed target Chelsea. Arsenal will be in the mix too because they defeated the Blues to send shockwaves at Stamford Bridge. Today, we want to recognize and celebrate five best players in the League last weekend.

5. Lacazette & Koscielny- 2 Goals

Arsenal surprised all the doubters and critics with a perfect performance to beat Chelsea 2-0 at Emirates Stadium. Unai Emery side had more intensity and hunger than Maurizio Sarri side.

The hosts opened the scoring in the 14th minute via forward Alexandre Lacazette and Laurent Koscielny made it 2-0 in the 39th minute. There were no more goals in the game and the Blues boss was left fuming in the press conference. He said his players are pretty hard to motivate. He needs to remember that he defeated the Gunners in his second match in charge at the start of the season.

4. Rashford & Pogba- 2 Goal

Manchester United registered their 7th win in seven matches since the arrival of Ole Gunnar Solskjær. The Red Devils defeated Brighton 2-1 at Old Trafford last Saturday to make it six wins out of six in Premier League alone.

All players are shining at the moment but Marcus Rashford and Paul Pogba are doing more for the team at the moment. The two scored on Saturday once again to secure all three points. The 21-year-old striker netted a better goal to win it for his team. This takes his tally for the season to 8 goals. He has also made 150 appearances for the club scoring 41 goals. He certainly has many more to come. Pogba stepped up to take a spot-kick after he was brought down in the box.

3.Mohamed Salah- 2 Goals

Mohamed Salah took his Premier League goal tally to 16 in 23 matches so far this season. The Liverpool forward netted twice to help his side steal all three points in a 4-3 thriller at Anfield. The brace means he has now scored 48 times in 59 League matches since he arrived last summer from AS Roma. Sadio Mane and Roberto Firmino netted the other two goals. This means the Reds remain 4 points ahead of second-placed side Manchester City.
