Pep Guardiola is finally feeling the pressure. Arsenal 22-game unbeaten run was ended in Southampton. Chelsea and Tottenham also recorded important wins. Arsenal unlikely hero could’ve been Henrikh Mkhitaryan if they had managed to get a point on Sunday against Southampton. The Armenian bailed the Gunners out twice with two goals but they could not hold on for a point against a resurgent Saints. It was a bad day for Unai Emery side but he will be impressed to see the winger get on the goals. He takes the fifth spot because he ended in the losing side.

Chelsea defeated Brighton 2-1 to solidify the fourth spot on the Premier League table. Eden Hazard was the engine behind the Blues goals because he assisted Pedro opener in the 17th minute then scored the winner in the 33rd minute. The win lifted them to 37 points, 3 ahead of Arsenal and five behind second-placed side Manchester City.

Manchester City defeated Everton 3-1 to go back to the League summit for at least 24 hours. Pep Guardiola will be pleased to see Gabriel Jesus get in the goals after such a tough start to the season. The Brazilian netted twice in 22nd and 50th minute to secure the points for City. Raheem Sterling added the third to finish off Marco Silva men.
