5. Jorginho- 1 Goal

Chelsea new boy Jorginho announced his Premier League arrival with a confident goal away against Huddersfield. The Brazilian born Italian International was handed the responsibility from 12 yards and he delivered perfectly. He operated from a deeper position but he was still very effective. The Blues fans will enjoy his elegance this season.

4. Ruben Neves- 1 Goal (Free-kick)

Wolves announced their return to the Premier League after several tough years in the Championship. They entered to the pitch in style but they struggled to break down Everton in the first half. However, Jagielka committed a dangerous foul just outside the box and the referee sent him off. Ruben Neves made the Toffees defender pay dearly with a sweet free-kick. It was the only goal from a set piece scored in the opening weekend. It was a great goal by the 21-year-old Portuguese International.

3. Luke Shaw- 1 Goal (Winner)

Manchester United opened the new Premier League season with a 2-1 win against Leicester City at Old Trafford on Friday night. The goals were scored by Captain of the day Paul Pogba, Luke Shaw and Jamie Vardy. It was a massive game for all those associated with the Red Devils because the pre-season had not gone according to plan. Jose Mourinho had complained about lack of new signings but after that victory, he looked happy.

The winning goal came from left-back Luke Shaw. The full-back was over the moon after the game because of several reasons. It was his first ever senior goal in his career. It also marked his return to full match fitness after a lot of criticism from the manager. He fully deserves to celebrate but a crucial season is ahead of him.
