2. Wilfried Zaha- Crystal Palace

Crystal Palace made another step towards safety with a valuable three points against Brighton. The entertaining match produced five goals for the fans to enjoy. Roy Hodgson and his players worked hard in the second half to hold on to their narrow lead until the end. Wilfried Zaha scored two goals in the 5th and 24th minute. He has been a very important player for them when he is fit. They might need to fight very hard to keep him at the club next summer.

1.Olivier Giroud- Chelsea

Last week will go down in history as one of the most dramatic in football history. It all started with Manchester United 3-2 win against Manchester City at Etihad despite gown down 2-0 by half time. Barcelona was then eliminated by AS Roma despite going to Italy with a healthy 4-1 lead. Real Madrid almost got knocked out by Juventus despite winning 3-0 in the first leg. Europa League had its surprises too.

Last weekend, the drama continued in the Premier League. Chelsea was 2-0 down by the 60th minute against Southampton at St. Marys. Antonio Conte brought Olivier Giroud on and the Frenchman netted two goals. The second one won the match for the Blues. It was a tough defeat to take for Mark Hughes and his players but that’s football.
