European football is slowly getting back after the festivities. Serie A Clubs will return this coming week to participate in Cup games. La Liga and Ligue 1 returned last weekend after ending their Christmas holidays early. Premier League continues this coming weekend after taking a weekend break to pave way for FA Cup third round matches and League Cup semi-final first leg. Today, we want to turn our attention to most dangerous teams in Europe this season by goals scored in all competitions.
5. Sevilla- 68 Goals

The old Sevilla is back with a big bang this season. In 2018/19 season so far, they have netted 68 goals in all competitions. Last weekend they were forced to accept a 1-1 draw against second-placed side Atletico Madrid at home. The draw means Diego Simeone side remain second, five points behind Barcelona. Sevilla title hopes continue to diminish because they are now 7 points behind the leaders.

Premier League second-highest scoring side comes from North London. In the last seven days, Tottenham Hotspurs smashed Tranmere 7-0 in FA Cup third round and Chelsea 1-0 in League Cup semi-final first leg to take their goal tally in all competitions to 70 so far this season. Mauricio Pochetino next challenge is to beat Manchester United in Premier League this coming weekend.

Barcelona is five points clear at the top of La Liga table after 18 matches. The Catalan giant is not even playing their best football but the rest still can’t cope with them. So far, Ernesto Valverde side has netted 71 goals in all competitions.
