European football season continues this weekend after saying goodbye to UEFA Champions League and Europa League group stages. The biggest clash will be between Premier League leaders Liverpool and wounded Manchester United at Anfield on Sunday evening. Today, we want to focus on five best-ranked clubs in Europe by points.
5. Juventus- 115 Points
Juventus reached the final in 2016/17 season and quarterfinals in 2017/18 season. On both occasions, Real Madrid proved too strong for them. This year, they decided to buy Cristiano Ronaldo because he is the man who has been destroying them in Europe for several years.
The Old Lady is ranked 5th in the continent with 115 points. The fans will hope it is not too late for CR7. He is 33-years-old which means it was a massive gamble to pay 100 million for him.
4. Atletico Madrid- 119 Points

Atletico Madrid has been unlucky in the last few seasons. Two times they have reached UEFA Champions League final but on both occasions, their City rivals Real Madrid emerged victorious.
Last season Diego Simeone decided to drop to Europa League and his side lifted the crown. He also went on to beat the Los Blancos in UEFA Super Cup. They are currently ranked 4th in Europe with 119 points.
3. Barcelona- 121 Points

Barcelona has been eliminated at the quarter-final stage for the last three seasons since they lifted UEFA Champions League crown in 2015/16. AS Roma embarrassed them earlier this year with a crazy comeback in Rome despite a 4-1 defeat at Camp Nou. Ernesto Valverde knows he has to do better in Europe this season. The Catalan giant is ranked third by UEFA with 121 points.
