The 2017-18 season is nearing its end, with only two months remaining. Different clubs in Europe have already shown the signs of winning the league titles, although the season is yet to finish.

Teams like Manchester City of the Premier League, La Liga’s Barcelona, Bundesliga’s Bayern Munich and Paris Saint-Germain of Ligue 1, have already sealed their league titles.

But on the other hand, some clubs are struggling to survive from relegation, others are striving to secure the Champions League football for next season.

There are clubs who opted to dismiss their managers when it is still early, others might be the candidates to be sacked in the future.

Now, let’s take a look at three European clubs who could dismiss their managers at the end of this season.

3. Borussia Dortmund – Peter Stöger

On 10 December 2017, Dortmund sacked dutch manager Peter Bosz just after four months in charge of the club.

Stöger was immediately announced as the successor to Bosz as manager of Borussia Dortmund and replaced by Peter Stöger.

Since he took over at Signal Iduna Park, Austrian manager Stöger Dortmund played 30 games but he only won 9 of them.

With this performance, we can admit that this manager is now under fire and could be sacked in the summer.

2. Paris Saint-Germain – Emery Unai

The French side have faced another disappointing UEFA Champions League run after being eliminated from the competition by Real Madrid.

The Spanish manager replaced Laurent Blanc as the club wanted the manager who will win the Champions League trophy.

However, the former Sevilla boss, who started this season with determination, has eventually revealed the weakness at the European level.

The Parisians tried to sign world-class players such as former Barcelona star Neymar, Kylian Mbappe who joined on loan from Monaco. But still, the performance of the club has been poor in European football this season.

Despite being at the of the league, the Parc des Princes side will definitely look for another manager this summer.

1. Chelsea – Antonio Conte

Conte moved to Chelsea in the summer of 2016 from Italy national team. His start at the London club last season was very successful. The Italian won the Premier League title and named the Premier League Manager of the Season 2016–17.

However, the former Juventus boss is underperforming this season. With the Blues were eliminated from UEFA Champions League by Barcelona and are struggling to secure the Champions League spot for next season.

On Sunday, The Guardian has claimed that PSG have opened talks with Antonio Conte’s representatives over the summer move.

This means that Conte could make a move to French league at the end of the season. He also previously said that he misses Italy and plans to return to his homeland in the near future.

Meanwhile, different reports have claimed that the 48-year-old is considering to make Italy national team return.

On the other hand, Chelsea have reportedly completed a pre-contract agreement with former Barcelona boss Luis Enrique, who could replace Conte.
