Former Real Madrid superstar Cristiano Ronaldo moved to Italian champions Juventus in a deal worth €112 million ((£99.2m). The Portuguese made his home debut for Juventus as they beat Lazio to extend their 2-0 winning start to the season. Unfortunately, the five-time Ballon d’Or winner failed to score nor assist on his debut for the new club.

Kylian Mbappe cost PSG €180 million (£165.7m) from Monaco. The French forward didn’t take long to bring his goal-scoring ways to Paris. On his debut, the then 18-year-old netted twice in PSG’s 5-1 victory over Metz.
