Real Madrid is up to 6th on the La Liga table after what pundits will call a lucky win against a solid Valladolid side at Santiago Bernabeu. The game was 0-0 until in the 83rd minute when wonder-kid Vinicius Junior deflected shot went straight to the net. Sergio Ramos stepped up to score a penalty in the 88th minute to secure all three points. Fiorentino Perez is still looking for a permanent representative after sacking Julen Lopetegui on Monday last week.

Chelsea unbeaten run continued last weekend with a 3-1 comfortable win against Crystal Palace at Stamford Bridge. There were many positives for Maurizio Sarri to highlight but Alvaro Morata brace is up there. The Spaniard looks like he is finally enjoying his football again. The Blues main problem is scoring goals. If the strikers start taking their chances, they will be a force to reckon with in the Premier League.
5. Neymar & Mbappe- 1 Goal each
Mbappe: 11 goals, 4 assists
Neymar: 9 goals, 4 assists

Paris Saint-Germain thrashed the closest challenger Lille 2-1 to become the first team in Europe top five Leagues to start the season with 12 consecutive wins. This means they have broken Tottenham Hotspurs 58-year record of 11 wins in a row. The goals were scored by the usual suspects Kylian Mbappe and Neymar. Cavani is not enjoying the monopoly he once had and before long he might leave the club.
4. Paulo Dybala & Ronaldo- Goal & Assist

Juventus thrashed Cagliari 3-1 at home to extend their lead at the top to 6 points. Inter Milan and Napoli had reduced that gap to only 3 points putting pressure on the champions to respond. Paulo Dybala opened the scoring in 1st minute. Filip Bradaric blunder gave the hosts a lead 2 minutes after Joao Pedro equalized in the 36th minute. Cristiano Ronaldo was unselfish to assist Juan Cuadrado third goal. This is perfect result ahead of another tricky clash against Manchester United in UEFA Champions League.
