After a jam-packed season of playing non-stop league and World Cup matches, the biggest names in football have been enjoying a well-deserved break for the summer. Down are the footballers who took the craziest holiday choices.

5. Mohamed Salah

Just like Sadio Mane and Marko Grujic, Salah was knocked out of the World Cup in the group stage, and was given an extended time off following his participation in Russia.

The craziest part of the Egyptian King’s holiday choices is not the jet skiing, but chosing to have it all alone, despite having a family that might be missing him.

He was spotted enjoying his final few days away from Merseyside by climbing aboard a jet ski on the ocean, while he also uploaded a photo of him paddle-boarding. It comes a day after he looked relaxed on the beach, sitting in front of the water with a drink in his hand.

4. Angel di Maria

Argentine star Angel di Maria took to the water as he in water hoverboarding. Di Maria appeared to have the upper hand as he let his Instagram followers make up their own minds with videos of him emerging on the platform.

3. Isco

Real Madrid ace Isco will have a new boss to impress when he returns to Spain following the arrival of Julen Lopetegui but he is currently at one with nature out in Barbados.

The Spanish playmaker, along with his girlfriend Sara Salamo, got up close and personal with sharks, iguanas and the famous swimming pigs as part of their holiday. The break comes at the right time for Isco after a disappointing World Cup campaign
