All European Leagues will take a two weeks break to pave way for UEFA Nations League. The same will happen in Africa, North and South America, Oceania and ASEAN regions. Today, before we start complaining about International football, let us look at how World class stars performed last weekend across Europe.

Liverpool will soon run out of steam chasing the perfect Manchester City side unless they can decide to drop their Champions League ambitions to concentrate on the Premier League. Jurgen Klopp side defeated Fulham to go top but Pep Guardiola side won again in the derby to go back top. This happened again two weeks ago when they played Tottenham at Wembley.
The Reds did their job against Fulham at Anfield hoping to go to the International break top of the log. Mohamed Salah opened the scoring with a great goal in the 41st minute and Xherdan Shaqiri made it 2-0 in the 53rd minute. They are 2 points behind City.
6. Silva, Aguero & Gundogan- 3 Goals
It fills us with pride to win the derby with team work and our supporters crowding the stadium. Let's celebrate! 🤟🏽 (And while my hair may be gray now, Manchester is blue 😉) C’mon City! pic.twitter.com/kV6RWDxgVh

Manchester City had another easy day in office on Sunday when they faced their bitter rivals Manchester United. The Red half of the City looked lost, outclassed and finally outscored. David Silva fine run against the Red Devils continued when he pounced on a loose ball to make it 1-0 in the 12th minute.
The match calmed down for most of the first half but the story changed quickly in the second half when Sergio Aguero embarrassed De Gea with a near-post finish. Pep Guardiola introduced IIkay Gundogan and he completed the job in the 86th minute. The gap between the two is pretty obvious and Jose Mourinho admitted after the match.
5. Robert Lewandowski- 2 Goals

Bayern Munich striker is looking weak in several positions but the forward line is secure. Robert Lewandowski did what he was required to do against Borussia Dortmund on Saturday. The Polish attacker netted two goals but his defenders conceded three to make his contribution meaningless at the end. Niko Kovac is under serious pressure to turn this around.
4. Marco Reus & Alcacer – 3 Goals

Borussia Dortmund is now four points clear at the top of Bundesliga table and 7 points ahead of defending Champions Bayern Munich. The Yellow and Black army biggest test was against the Bavarians and they came out victorious on Saturday.
Marco Reus netted twice for the hosts but the winning goal came from Barcelona flop Paco Alcacer in the 73rd minute. The revival of other teams in the German League is very much welcome after six seasons of total dominance by the Red giants from Munich.
