Qatar former skipper Jafal Rashed Al-Kuwari played his final game in 2009 for Al-Sadd and was actually lucky to face the mighty AC Milan on the day. He is a celebrated star in the Middle East Country. He is the current team manager and spokesperson of Al Sadd.
