Real Madrid star Cristiano Ronaldo will not be happy when he sees these figures given the way he works hard for his team on the pitch. This is because he is set to take home only £82 million by the end of 2017/18 season as compared to £110 million Messi will find in his bank account. The Portuguese has demanded a new contract to increase his current wages which stand at £365,000-per-week. However, Fiorentina Perez is not so sure how long the 33-year-old will continue to deliver at the highest level.

1.Lionel Messi- £110 Million

Lionel Messi is the new king of football money league. The Barcelona forward will pocket £110 million by the end of 2017/18 season. This means the Argentine will take home £28 million more than his bitter rival Cristiano Ronaldo.

The huge difference comes from the new deal the South American signed last November. His current weekly wage stands at £500,000-a-week as compared to CR7 £365,000-per-week. It also includes bonuses and sponsorship deals. The new contract signed by the Catalan star contains a release clause worth £626m and £80m in bonuses.
