Juventus are set to complete the signing of Real Madrid superstar Cristiano Ronaldo on Friday as they want to present him to fans on Saturday.
The Serie A champions have already tabled a £88m bid to secure the signature of the five-time Ballon d’Or winner.
The Old Lady have agreed personal terms with Portugal captain, while the two clubs remain locked in talks.
According to Sky Italia, the former Manchester United star will be unveiled at the Juventus Stadium over the weekend, if the deal is completed not later than Friday.
Ronaldo’s agent Jorge Mendes has stated that the five-time Champions League winner will be eternally grateful if he decides to leave the European champions.
“If this happens it will simply be a new stage, a new challenge in his brilliant career,” Mendes told Portuguese newspaper Record.
“If Cristiano Ronaldo leaves Real Madrid, he will be eternally grateful to the club, the president, all the directors, the medical staff, all the staff without exception, as well as all the Madrid fans around the world.”
Speaking to beIN Sports May after Champions League final, Ronaldo said: “In the coming days there will be an answer about my future for the fans, who have always been by my side. It has been very nice playing for Real Madrid.”
The 33-year-old, who moved to Madrid side from Manchester United in 2009, has since scored 450 goals in 438 appearances in all competitions.
Ronaldo helped Los Blancos to win 15 titles including four Champions League trophies and two La Liga titles.
