Atletico Madrid striker has revealed that he is eyeing another title with the Spanish side before leaving the side for another club.

Fernando Torres and Los Rojiblancos will depart ways at the end of the season, as the Spaniard wants a new challenge.

Therefore, before the 34-year-old makes his way out of the club, he is believing to clinch the Europa League title.

Atletico Madrid will take on Marseille on 16 May 2018 at the Parc Olympique Lyonnais in France. And former Liverpool star Torres has admitted that he aims to lift the title he has yet to achieve.

“Football has given me the opportunity to return to Atletico and fight for titles as a player, and achieving the Europa League trophy would be something special without a doubt,” Torres revealed.

“The fact of having reached the final minimises the feeling of knowing that my career is over.”

“We have a very important game ahead and I don’t have much time to think about much else.”

Torres, who started his career at Atletico before moving to Liverpool, then to Chelsea, returned to the Spanish capital in 2016 from AC Milan.
