Arsenal is about to lose Aaron Ramsey to Juventus for free next summer. The 28-year-old Welsh refused to extend his contract at Emirates after talks broke down in 2018. He is set to complete his medical on Sunday paving way for his transfer in July when his Gunners deal expires. The Old Lady has a habit of snatching top players for nothing in recent years. Today, we want to look at some of the best players the Italian club has got for free recently.

On 9th June 2015, the football World was shocked to hear Juventus announce Sami Khedira had signed a four-year deal on a free transfer from Real Madrid. This was surprising because the then 27-year-old (now 31) was an important player for the Los Blancos and Germany. The central midfielder has played 118 matches scoring 20 times in three-and-half years with the Old Lady.
4. Emre Can- 2018

In 2014, Liverpool paid Bayer Leverkusen £9.75 million in transfer fee to sign Emre Can. The German came through the youth ranks at Bayern Munich. Brendan Rodgers believed he was the right man to take over midfield role from Captain Steven Gerrard.
However, four years later, the 24-year-old decided not to extend his contract at Anfield. He was demanding a massive salary increase but the Reds could not match his demands. On 21st June 2018, Can signed for Juventus on a free transfer after his contract expired. The two clubs agreed on a small compensation fee but losing such a young player for almost nothing must have hurt the Premier League club. He is now a regular at Turin.
3. Aaron Ramsey- 2019
Aaron Ramsey is set to join Juventus in June at the end of his Arsenal contract, according to Sky in Italy.

Arsenal refused to give him £250k-a-week he was asking for to renew his contract. The 28-year-old must have accepted the Turin deal because it is longer. It means he will play for them and win trophies until his 33rd birthday. He is expected to complete his medical on Sunday ahead of his free transfer next summer when his Gunners contract expires in June.
