Gerard Pique has had a long rivalry with the Ronaldo ever since his move to Spain from Manchester United back in 2009. Their testing relationship stems from the antagonism between their respective clubs.

And last night’s 3-3 draw would’ve added fuel to the fire.

The Portugal captain went down inside the penalty box after only a few minutes and scored the following penalty to open the scoring.

According to Pique, Ronaldo went down far too quite easily.

“Finding yourself in the opening game of a World Cup with a penalty against you in the second minute, you have to leave with good feelings after how the match went.

“Cristiano is prone to diving.”

The Barcelona and Spain defender is likely unhappy with the way in which his side threw away their lead at the death.

Both teams remain to play Iran and Morocco.
