Liverpool all-time best goals scorer crown belongs to Ian Rush. The legendary striker netted 346 goals for the Reds in two spells. In 1983/84 season, the forward netted 47 goals in 65 appearances in all competitions. By the time he left the club in 1996, he had scored 25 goals against City rivals Everton. The Welshman helped the club lift 5 League titles, 3 FA Cups, 5 League Cups, and 2 UEFA Champions League crowns. Mohamed Salah and his teammates can only dream of such titles.

Bristol City legend John Atyeo takes the fourth spot when it comes to most goals scored for a single club. The legendary striker netted 351 goals for Bristol City in a career spanning 15 years. He was a loyal servant of the club despite interest from other clubs.

Everton legend Dixie Dean takes the third spot when it comes to most goals scored for a single club. The legendary forward scored goals for fun. He netted 383 goals for the Toffees from 1925 to 1937. In 1927/28 season he netted a record 60 goals. He also scored 18 times in only 16 appearances for England. He won the League twice, and FA Cup once.
