Barcelona winger has completed a move to a Premier League club for a reported fee of €13 million as it was confirmed by both sides.

Watford have confirmed they have permanently signed Gerard Deulofeu on a five-year deal following a five-month loan deal at Vicarage Road.

According to Barcelona official website, the Catalan side and the Premier League side have reached an agreement for the transfer of Deulofeu to the English club.

Both sides have agreed on a fee of €13m, plus €4m in add-ons for the former Everton star. The Blaugrana have also added that the deal includes a sell-on clause.

“We are very pleased to welcome Gerard back,” said Watford chairman Scott Duxbury. “Our ambition to succeed and grow in the Premier League remains as strong as ever.”

Deulofeu, who joined La Masia in 2003 when he was just nine years old, has scored once in 7 appearances for the Hornets; while he had scored twice in 17 appearances for the Blaugrana.

The 24-year-old, who represented Spain national team four times, has played only for two clubs but was loaned out to four different clubs.
