Manchester United have completed their second signing of the summer as a £19 million right-back has already joined the Red Devils.

The Old Trafford side have announced that Diogo Dalot has agreed to join the club from Porto signing a five-year contract.

The 19-year-old graduated from Porto B in 2017 and has first appeared with the first team in competitive games on 13 October in the same year.

Dalot, who is also capable to play on the left-back, is yet to represent the Portugal’s national team.

“Joining Manchester United is an unbelievable opportunity for me,” Dalot told United’s official website.

“I have grown up in Porto’s Academy and I am so thankful for everything they have done for me.”

“But the chance of coming to the biggest club in the world is something I just couldn’t turn down.”

“I’m excited about working with Jose Mourinho and learning everything I can from such a successful coach.”

“I am looking forward to playing alongside the fantastic players in the squad.”

The Portuguese full-back has now become United’s second signing of the summer after completing for Brazilian midfielder Fred from Shakhtar Donetsk on Tuesday.
