Manchester United goalkeeper David De Gea has finally revealed where he wishes to play after this summer transfer window.

The Spain international shot-stopper has insisted that he is very happy at Old Trafford amid much rumours over his future.

De Gea is currently one of the best goalkeepers in the football world as he has been United’s number one since he joined in 2011.

The 27-year-old has been strongly linked with Real Madrid move since 2015 and continues to be linked with a return to his motherland.

The Los Blancos are eager to sign a replacement for their number one goalkeeper Keylor Navas.

However, the Red Devils are eager to keep hold of De Gea and want him to sign a new long-term contract to tie him at Old Trafford for the rest of his career.

“Usually I’m always calm, the important thing now is to start the World Cup on June 15th,” said De Gea, ahead of Spain’s 1-1 friendly draw with Switzerland on Sunday.

“Is the most important thing. Do well in Russia, have a good role and do things in the best possible way.”

“Future? I’m happy where I am, happy. Now, very focused on the national team.”

De Gea, who once again proved his value to United in the 2017-18 season, still has another year to run on his contract.

The stopper moved to Old Trafford in 2011 from Atletico Madrid as Edwin van der Sar replacement. And the North West side able to trigger a clause to extend his stay at the club.
