Neymar has openly made it clear that he is staying at Paris Saint-Germain amid rumours linking him with Real Madrid move this summer.
The Brazil international has announced where he will be playing next season at an event at the Neymar Institute in Sao Paul on Thursday evening.
Neymar’s foundation was celebrating its second charity auction to help vulnerable children.
“I’m staying, I’m staying in Paris. I have a contract,” Neymar said.
The former Barcelona star, who joined PSG just last summer, accused the media of fuelling the speculation about his future.
“The press was feeding this and making up stories. They end up speculating too much. The topic is boring, but everyone knows how fond I am of the president (PSG president, Nasser Al-Khelaifi who also attended the charity event), for the country and for the fans,” Neymar added.
“I decided to go to Paris for a challenge, to try new things and to search for new goals. And nothing has changed in my mind.”
Neymar, whose contract at Parc des Princes will run until 2022, has managed to score 27 goals and 16 assists last season.
