France netted 4 goals against a helpless Argentina side to knock them out of World Cup 2018 showdown. The show and the day belonged to 19-year-old Kylian Mbappe. The striker was involved in three goals out of four scored by Le Bleus. He started by winning a penalty against Marcus Rojo and Antoine Griezmann converted it to put his side ahead. The PSG star then found the net twice in the second half to kill off Lionel Messi hopes of winning the World Cup. The 1998 Champions are ranked fifth in the tournament by goals scored with 7 strikes.

Croatia was taken all the way to penalty shoot-outs by a disciplined and hardworking Denmark side. Luka Modric and his troops were expected to go through but nobody saw the fight delivered by the Danes. They will now face hosts Russia in the last eight on Saturday. They are ranked 4th in the tournament so far with 8 goals.

England fans and pundits have already started dreaming of World Cup glory. Three Lions need to beat Colombia in the last 16 to book a place in the quarterfinals. So far, they rank third in Russia by goals scored with 8 strikes. James Rodriguez is back and ready to face Harry Kane on Tuesday. The young English side will need to deliver or get knocked out by the more experienced Falcao side. It will certainly be a great match to watch.
