CIES Football Observatory has released a new report detailing their value estimation for the current football stars. The research takes into consideration the age of the player, length of their contract, transfer fees, market value among others. Premier League has produced three players in the top five, La Liga, Serie A and Bundesliga don’t have any in the list because the final two spots belong to Ligue 1. 5. Mohamed Salah- €184.3m

The third most valuable player in English Premier League and fifth in Europe is Mohamed Salah of Liverpool. The 26-year-old Egyptian is valued at €184.3m. He was simply unstoppable in 2017/18 season when he helped the Reds reach UEFA Champions League final. Jurgen Klopp side is leading the Premier League table at the moment.

4. Raheem Sterling- €185.8m

Manchester City most valued player is surprisingly Raheem Sterling. The 24-year-old has already played so much football in his career at the highest level. The former Liverpool star has faced criticism from the media for failing to produce especially for England but they forget he is still very young. CIES values him at €185.8m.

3. Neymar- €197.1m

The World most expensive player Neymar finds himself behind Harry Kane and teammate Kylian Mbappe when it comes to current value. The French youngster maybe deserves to be ahead because of his age but Kane should not be ahead. However, the 26-year-old Brazilian has struggled to re-discover his Barcelona form since switching to PSG. He has taken up play acting and simulation to a whole new level and the fans are not impressed. He is valued at €197.1m.
