It is time to breathe and reflect for Premier League fans after a marathon of four matches since the start of 2018/19 season. The top three remain the same because Liverpool, Chelsea, and Watford won their fourth matches. Manchester City completes the temporary top four but Tottenham Hotspurs is only one point behind. Manchester United and Arsenal also scrapped positive results for their fans away from home against Burnley and Cardiff City. Today, we want to look at six players with the most accurate passes to the final third in Premier League so far.

6. Fernandinho- 76.36% Accuracy to Attack Zone

Manchester City engine Fernandinho is back once again this season. The Brazilian was simply unplayable for Pep Guardiola side last season. He was the man who recovered the ball almost immediately the team lost it to their opponents. His job was to push it forward to start another attack. This season so far, he has recorded an average accuracy of 76.36% for all passes he has completed directed towards the final third.

5. Granit Xhaka- 80.36% Accuracy to Attack Zone

Arsenal holding midfielder Granit Xhaka is a man under serious scrutiny at the moment. The reason is because since the arrival of Mattéo Guendouzi, the dimension in midfield has changed significantly. The 19-year-old has been impressive and the fans want more from the Switzerland international. However, he has 80.36% accuracy for all passes he has played forward. This kind of stat will please Unai Emery but it’s clear he wants more.

4. Antonio Rudiger- 83.33% Accuracy to Attack Zone

Germany Coach Joachim Loew has no option but to drop either Jerome Boateng or Hummels to pave way for first rising star Antonio Rudiger. The 25-year-old has improved a lot since he joined the Blues from AS Roma in 2017. He has established himself as the anchorman in the center of Chelsea defense. The question is not about whether he will play or not but who will partner him. The centre-back has an average of 83.33% accuracy for all passes he has played forward. The only player with a better return is new signing Jorginho.
