Liverpool American owner John W. Henry is determined to see the club succeed after years of underinvestment. The Reds fans were unhappy with the billionaire for failure to spend big like all other top four clubs. However, in the last two years, he has backed Jurgen Klopp in the transfer market as the club try to get back to the top.
In 2018 summer alone, the club paid a world record £67 million to sign goalkeeper Alisson Becker from AS Roma. Other key arrivals include Virgil Van Dijk, Fabinho, Keita, and Shaqiri. The future looks very bright for the club under him. They are now top of the table after losing only one game so far. His net worth is estimated to be around £1.94bn. He also owns baseball franchise Boston Red Sox.
4. Man United: Glazer Family- Net Worth: £2.49bn

Manchester United is owned by American billionaire family called The Glazers. The late father called Malcolm Glazer bought the club in 2005 but he later died. His sons Avram and Joel Glazer took over as co-Chairmen to date. The fans opposed the deal and a section of them are still unhappy with the Americans family even today. They have been blamed for lack of proper investment since Sir Alex Ferguson left the club in 2013.

However, since the family took over 13 years ago, the club has won 5 League titles, 1 FA Cup, 1 League Cup, 1 UEFA Champions League, and 1 Europa League crown. They will need to do more to compete with the new richer owners at Manchester City. The Glazer family net worth is estimated at £2.49bn today. The family also owns NFL franchise Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

Crystal Palace narrowly escaped relegation last season after a disastrous start under Dutchman Frank De Boer. Roy Hodgson came in and steered the ship to safety. UK businessman Steve Parish who is also the current chairman owns only about 18% of the club. The main owners are US billionaires Joshua Harris (net worth £2.4bn) and David Blitzer (net worth £1bn). The two men also own New Jersey Devils (NHL), and NBA franchise Philadelphia 76ers. They will need to support the manager before the window closes to avoid another tiring relegation fight.
