European football is slowly getting back after the festivities. Serie A Clubs will return this coming week to participate in Cup games. La Liga and Ligue 1 returned last weekend after ending their Christmas holidays early. Premier League continues this coming weekend after taking a weekend break to pave way for FA Cup third round matches. Today, we want to focus on the five most valuable clubs according to Forbes latest report. There is a massive shift this year.

Manchester City has overtaken Arsenal, Chelsea, Liverpool and Juventus in the value table. Premier League defending Champions are valued at $2.47 Billion today. Pep Guardiola will want to lift UEFA Champions League with City to push the value even higher.
4. Bayern Munich- $3.06 Billion
Bayern Munich will be looking over their shoulders because Manchester City is racing quickly down the value list. Bundesliga defending champions are ranked the fourth worldwide with a valuation of about $3.06 Billion. Borussia Dortmund is threatening to take their crown in Germany but the Bavarians will hope for a better second half of the season.
3. Barcelona- $4.06 Billion
— FC Barcelona (@FCBarcelona) January 8, 2019
Barcelona retains their place in the value table for yet another year. La Liga defending champions are edging closer to yet another title after going five points clear at the top last weekend. However, no matter how many trophies they lift, it has become impossible for them to overtake the other two leaders on this list. Forbes values them at $4.06 Billion.
