Lazio midfielder Sergej Milinkovic-Savic, who has been the main target for Premier League side Manchester United, has agreed to join Juventus.
Milinkovic-Savic, who is now with the Serbia national team for the World Cup in Russia, has been strongly tipped to replace Michael Carrick at Old Trafford.
However, ex-Juventus general director Luciano Moggi has claimed that the 23-year-old will certainly join the Italian champions this summer.
Speaking to Italian television station 7 Gold, Moggi has revealed that Juventus have completed deals for Milinkovic-Savic and Valencia right-back Joao Cancelo.
“For Cancelo the situation is this: he wants Juve and Juve wants him,” Moggi said. “The operation will go like that for Milinkovic-Savic. The fee with Lazio is already set, he will also go to Juventus.”
Milinkovic-Savic, who joined Lazio in 2015 from Genk, has scored 25 goals in 122 appearances across all competitions for the Biancocelesti.
