Former Liverpool midfielder Jamie Redknapp has revealed that Manchester United players are now tired of Jose Mourinho tactics at Old Trafford.

United produced an uninspiring performance in the weekend as they suffered a 3-2 defeat at the hands of Brighton & Hove Albion.

Mourinho has been heavily criticised by fans and football pundits since joining United in 2016 for his defensive football.

But former England international Redknapp has warned Mourinho that he could be losing the dressing room soon.

“United’s players no longer seem to be responding to their manager. Eight of this side appeared in the World Cup quarter-finals,” Redknapp wrote in his column for the Daily Mail.

“Many of them will be thinking, ‘Why can’t we play Pep Guardiola’s brand of football?’”

“Already, you get the feeling the players are growing tired of not only their manager’s negative football but his outbursts, too.”

The Red Devils will take on Tottenham Hotspur on Monday night as Mourinho side will be looking to bounce back at Old Trafford.
