Eintracht Frankfurt sporting director Fredi Bobic has claimed that the German club would have to listen to offers for midfielder Ante Rebic.

Premier League duo Manchester United and Arsenal have all been in the race for the Croatia international and have now been handed a boost in their pursuit of the forward.

According to German publication Bild, Tottenham have emerged as the first suitors for Rebic but they faced a competition from the Premier League this week. Rebic is believed to be available this summer for at least £44 million.

Therefore, Bobic has admitted that Eintracht Frankfurt are powerless to stop big clubs raiding their top talents.

“I am very happy about the success of Ante Rebic with the Croatian national team,” Bobic told Sport 1.

“The players and the coaching team are watching the World Cup games together in the training camp in the USA and are especially excited about Rebic.”

“So far there are no offers available and we’re planning a steady season with Ante Rebic for the new season. Of course, we know that a lot can happen when a big club makes an offer.”

“We cannot compete economically with the big ones, but that’s nothing new.”

The 24-year-old, who is currently in Russia for the World Cup duty, has helped Croatia to reach their first World Cup final as they face France on Sunday evening.
