Liverpool players have sent the message to Real Madrid ahead of UEFA Champions League final game in Kiev.
Both sides will lock horns on 26 May at Olimpiyskiy National Sports Complex with Madrid want 13th European trophy; while Premier League giants want to secure the sixth trophy in their history.
The Merseysiders might be considered as underdogs against Real Madrid. But Liverpool superstars Sadio Mane and Virgil van Dijk have warned the Los Blancos to be careful their snapping teeth.
Mane said: “We have a lot of respect for Madrid, they are one of the best teams in the world. But we are Liverpool – we are strong and we can beat any team in the world.”
“We have the players. We can score goals. And we have shown there is nothing to be afraid of for us.”
Furthermore, Dutch defender Van Dijk has seemingly fortified his teammate’s idea: “We are not going there to lose.”
“We need to be wary of what they can do and we know obviously they have won three of the last four years. But we know we have a lot of quality and they need to be wary of what we can do.”
